Energy savings for hotels and apartments

Do you also have the problem of guests leaving the air conditioning on when they are out or making the place too cold?

Then we have the solution for you.

1. Presence control

Klisens was designed to prevent energy loss from air conditioners that people leave on. It is especially used in offices and hotels.

Air conditioners left on generate enormous energy loss and air pollution. Klisens checks if there are people inside the room/office. If it does not detect anyone for a predefined period (15-30-60-90 minutes), it turns off the air conditioner using infrared signals and saves a lot of energy. It is completely wireless and battery operated. Therefore, it does not require wiring for either the power supply or the AirCon itself. It behaves like the remote control for your AirCon. It is a DIY product; Simply pair the remote control and mount it on the ceiling for Klisens to work. It also improves the lifespan of your AirCon by avoiding unnecessary operation and not physically cutting off its power.

According to 2016 tourism reports, between 45% and 50% of the electricity bill of a 5-star hotel is consumed by air conditioning units. This is about ten times more than lighting consumption.

According to the same report, the greatest energy consumption related to air conditioning occurs inside the rooms. If people leave air conditioners running, this usually results in energy consumption about twice as much as normal.

Klisens only turns off the AirCon and does not turn it on again. The user has to turn their AirCon back on via the remote control. This helps avoid unnecessary activation of AirCons during check-in and sleep periods.

Klisens is the most practical, effective and profitable solution to avoid this loss of money. Klisens' goal is to reduce your electricity bills by around 15-25% and the ROI (Return on Investment) between 3-6 months.

2. Remote control

The remote control helps to control the minimum and maximum temperature, in addition to the functions that a remote control has.control control lying down

When guests arrive from a hotel or apartment, they turn on the air conditioning and set the temperature to 16C throughout the day. The remote control allows you to set a minimum and maximum temperature to prohibit the temperature from dropping below the minimum temperature. This means that if the minimum temperature is set to 23C and the guest is turning down the air conditioning to 16C, the remote control continues to send 23C for every degree lower than 23C.
For example, 22C sends 23C, 18C sends 23C .

So that the guest does not realize that the air conditioning is set to a minimum temperature and does not go lower, we recommend covering the screen inside the lid where the degrees are displayed with insulating tape.

The same can be done with the maximum temperature to limit heating.
